YOUR HOME AT SEA: SELECTING A CABIN. Working with the deck plan (located in the cruise line brochure), pay special attention to the location, amenities and bed configuration when selecting your preferred cabin type. Please advise us of any special needs or location preferences, when requesting your cabin.
BRING THE KIDS ALONG! More than ever before, Alaska cruises are an experience that can be shared by the whole family. Many cruise lines feature supervised day and evening programs tailored to various age groups-from toddlers to teens. It's a great way for kids to keep busy and meet new friends in a safe environment. Family cruising is also an excellent value. Many cruise lines offer substantially reduced rates for kids. Most ships have cabins that can accomodate three to four people with ease.
JUST GET ME TO THE SHIP ON TIME. Each cruise line offers attractive air supplements in conjunction with their cruise programs. In the back of the cruise line brochure, are the "air-sea" supplements. Refer to this chart to determine the closest departure city and additional costs for this transportation. It is important to note that Cruise Advisors has not control over the selection of your air carrier or actual routing. This is done by the cruise line.
If you are interested in extending your visit, most cruise lines will allow this change, for a nominal charge (typically $50 each).
It is permissible to arrange your own air tranportation (i.e. using frequent flyer points, senior tickets, excursion fares) to the ship. However, guests not using the cruise lines air program must purchase transfers betwen the airport and ship.
